No stable in Kodi XBMC

I as or late supplanted the motherboard in my media focus due to on-going bluescreens, and I accidentally chose a restored board with no-on-board sound (ASUS Rampage Extreme II). The two fundamental PCIE sound how to fix audio issues in kodi  card makers give an impression of being ASUS and Creative. I chose ASUS Xonar PCIE 7.1 DX for two reasons:

I have utilized a lot of Creative equipment and are deteriorating after some time.

It was the only thing they had in the shop!

Anyway, first issue was that the card did not physically fit into my PCIE x1_1 space because of the CPU heatsink position! Fortunately I discovered a PCIE card in any PCIE space. So I could introduce it in my second PCIE x16 space.

Second issue is that when I used to introduce the drivers from ASUS, the driver establishment did not recognize the card and just hung. I was working on it, and the incredibly the establishment of second time around and sound in Windows 7 was presently working.

When I started up Kodi in any case, there was no solid. Investigating playback failed log the log document I saw this:

CAESinkDirectSound :: Initialize: can not make optional cradle (DSERR_UNSUPPORTED)

What's more, in the wake of googling that I have been faced with issues with ASUS Xonar cards in XBMC / Kodi. The principle arrangement was to go into framework - sound settings and change from utilizing DirectSound to WASAPI. This works for me, anyway it implies that when Kodi is running, no other application can yield sound, ie Kodi has select access to the sound equipment. While not ideal, this is no less than a useful package. Yet, I will most likely buy ASUS Xonar sound cards later on.
